Notice of Activity

At my school we have to fill out a "Notice of Activity" in triplicate whenever we are going to have a party or something of the like. It goes to the principal and he signs off on the activity. This includes the normal party times of the year, when everyone is having a party (Halloween, Christmas, & Valentine's). It's always fun to try to figure out how to tie a party to the curriculum goals, and this year for Christmas I wrote:
"This is a cultural experience where we will decorate cookies to promote cohesiveness, cooperation, and brotherly love within our classroom."

The office staff got a good laugh out of this one...
