I just spent the weekend in Beaverton, OR. My mom and I went over on Friday after work and stayed until Sunday. We saw family, ate too much, shopped too much, and went to my cousin Ben's wedding. It was fun to catch up with everyone that went. We saw some family from Pullman, WA that we hadn't seen in years! That included my 88 year old great aunt who is absolutely adorable!
I enjoyed meeting 2 cousins that I had never met. Seven year old Shawn and five year old David were so much fun to be around! My Uncle Bill came up from Fremont, CA with the boys who are his grandsons.
Ben and Alice got married on Saturday night and we got there 1.5 hours early! Who does that? We were under the impression that we were going to Salem early to hang out at my Uncle Steve's house. That was not the case and we had no where to go, so we headed to Independence, OR to the Greenvilla Barn. The wedding was nice and it was fun to see family and folks that I hadn't seen for years and years. I saw some people who sent my sister and I birthday cards every year and I had no clue who they were! It was nice to put a face to a name!
